Teacher Of Design And Technology (0.8fte) (TMS/UPS) 

We're recruiting a Teacher of Design and Technology with Textiles Specialism to join us in September 2019.  The person appointed will be an excellent teacher able to teach across KS3, KS4 and KS5 and to enthuse, encourage and help pupils achieve the best that is possible. 

St. Paul's is a thriving and successful Catholic school with an excellent reputation.  We are committed to the care of all pupils and to challenge and support them to do the best that is possible.  The hard work of a highly motivated, professional and friendly staff continues to lead to higher levels of pupil learning and examination success. Recent, substantial and ongoing investment in D&T includes CREO 3.0 CAD software, pupil laptops, 3D printers, a CNC lathe and an additional laser cutter. St. Paul's is a Science College and a Training School, has a further specialism in Languages and the D&T department is leading Milton Keynes D&T network meetings in collaboration with the Local Authority. This underlines our commitment to excellent teaching and learning and professional development. 

All pupils at St. Paul’s study D&T until the end of Year 11. GCSE Design and Technology are all taught, as well as OCR National Engineering Design and Engineering Manufacture.  Pupils at St. Paul’s are successful in their studies in D&T, exceeding the progress that pupils make nationally by the end of Key Stage 4.  A-level Product Design, Design Engineering and Fashion and Textiles are also popular courses Post-16.  FFT VA scores of around +1 have been routinely achieved in recent years.  The academic success of pupils who study D&T at St. Paul’s is enabled by creative and motivated teaching and support staff who value working in a strong team and a collaborative environment.  You can see a job description here and a person specification here.

Head Of Physics (TMS/UPS + TLR2C) 

We're looking for a new Head of Physics to join our successful and thriving Science Department in April 2019.  You will lead a highly skilled team which achieves strong results at GCSE and A-Level.  The person appointed will be an excellent teacher with the skills and motivation to lead a department that helps pupils achieve the best that is possible.

Teacher Of Business Studies (TMS/UPS) NQT’s welcome 

The Governors at St. Paul’s Catholic School have an exciting opportunity to recruit a Teacher of Business Studies to join this successful department in September 2019.  The person appointed will be an excellent teacher able to teach Business Studies across a range of courses (including GCSE, A Level and BTEC Level 2 & 3).
