A Qualified Teacher Of The Vision Impaired

(TMS/UPS + LA SEN Points)

January 2021 (1fte but part time will be considered)

The person appointed will join a well-established and experienced vision impairment provision within the Sensory-ICT Team which is based at St. Paul’s Catholic School.  You will be supporting children and young people with a vision impairment as a peripatetic teacher and working in partnership with families in the home, settings and schools across Milton Keynes.  You will hold the mandatory Teacher of the Vision Impaired Qualification (QTVI).  A knowledge and understanding of Braille is an advantage. There is the opportunity for a suitable candidate to train to become a Qualified Teacher for MSI and take a leading role in supporting pupils with MSI in mainstream schools. Teacher Of Modern Foreign Languages 0.6FTE (TMS/UPS)

Temporary Maternity Cover from January 2022 (NQTs welcome)

The Governors at St. Paul’s Catholic School have an exciting opportunity to recruit a Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages to join this successful and thriving department.  To teach across the age and ability range at KS3, 4 & 5. The person appointed will be an excellent teacher able to teach French and German up to KS5 in a school committed to the teaching of Modern Languages and where all pupils study a modern language to GCSE. The ability to teach A ‘Level French is essential. As a department, we also enjoy extending our own language learning, be it developing a second foreign language or learning a new language from scratch. Teacher Of History (TMS/UPS) NQTs Welcome

We wish to appoint an outstanding History practitioner to join our well-established and high achieving team of specialists.  The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic forward looking and creative teacher to teach across the age and ability range at Key Stage 3 and 4 with a willingness to teach GCSE.  The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching History and will be able to motivate and inspire our students to have love of the subject.  You will demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively in terms of planning, preparation and assessment.

Head Of Chemistry (TMS/UPS + TLR2C)

The Governors at St. Paul’s Catholic School have an exciting opportunity to recruit a Head of Chemistry to join this thriving department.  We are looking for someone to lead a successful team which achieves excellent results at GCSE and A-Level.  The person appointed will be an excellent teacher with the skills and motivation to lead a department to help pupils achieve the best that is possible.
