Specialist Teaching Support Assistant-Level 3 VI  

30 hours per week, Term time only plus 1 day. Working hours Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 8.40am-3.35pm & Friday 8.40am-2.30pm. St. Paul’s Pay Range 3 Point 16, Starting Salary £19,492.                 

The current vacancy is within our large special educational needs and disability department, Emmaus, providing learning support for a variety of pupils with vision impairment and additional needs within the classroom. The person appointed will need to have or be willing to undergo training for a qualification in Braille. 

The desirable candidate will ideally have experience in these specialist areas, in particular working with young people with SEND aged between 11-19 years old; however, training will be given. You can see a job description here and a person specification here.

Catering Assistant

Maternity Cover Fixed Contract September 2024 until Easter 2025

Salary: St Paul’s Pay Range 1B (£12.18 per hour), 10 hours p/w, term time plus 2 training days. Hours are Monday – Thursday 12.30pm – 14.30 & Friday 11.30am- 13.30pm.

We are currently recruiting into our busy catering department here at St. Paul’s, to support the preparation, service and delivery of food internally and externally at our customers.  We are seeking enthusiastic and committed individual to join our team preparing and serving school lunches secondary aged children.  The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a busy kitchen, will have some experience of preparing meals, making sandwiches and serving food. Specialist Emmaus Support Assistant-Access Arrangements  

1 Year fixed term contract until August 2025. 30 hours per week, Term time only plus 1 day training. Working hours Monday, Wednesday & Thursday 8.40am-3.35pm, Tuesday 8.50am – 3.35pm & Friday 8.40am-2.30pm. St. Paul’s Pay Range 3 Point 16, Starting Salary £19,492.                 

The current vacancy is to support within our large special educational needs department working with a variety of pupils with additional needs including, pupils with visual impairment, pupils with hearing impairment and pupils on the autistic spectrum and their needs within the classroom.  The person appointed will support the SENDCO and Examination Officers in arranging, administering and timetabling Access Arrangements of public and internal examinations. This position will work with the SENDCo, Examination Officers, members of the Leadership Group, Heads of Departments, teachers and support staff.
