Year 12 Parent Information Evening on 12th  March

We have an information evening on Thursday 12th March from 6pm until 7.30pm in the school Theatre. The purpose of the first part of the evening is for those studying a BTEC to come and talk with their teachers. The second part of the evening from 6:45 p.m. is for all students and we will be looking at the significance of the examinations at the end of Year 12: the Pre Public Examinations (PPEs) for Linear A-levels, the GCSE re-sit examinations and BTEC External Assessment. We will consider how to learn from PPE examinations and share revision techniques and strategies. We will also explore the nature of the increased rigour of assessment and examination on BTEC programmes and ways students can fulfil their potential over the two years.

Letters have gone home via In Touch. Please complete the reply slip on the letter and return it to Mrs Cox, Year 12 Administrator in J205 by Monday 9th March, or send an email with the student's name and how many seats are required to
