Are you a former student and would you be interested in supporting the development of current and future learners within the school?

We want to enrich our community by bringing together our past and present students through a St Paul’s alumni and supporters network. As part of this network you can keep in touch with classmates, network with other alumni and make new connections. It also lets you stay in touch with what’s happening at your old school. In turn, you can help us by sharing your valuable experience and knowledge with our current students, helping them make the move towards higher education, training or careers.
The first step is to add your details to our alumni database by emailing alumniandsupporters@st-pauls.org.uk. We can then tailor the activities and events that would work best for you and our students.
If you were willing to give up a little of your time, some of the ways you could be involved are:
- delivering career specific information during our 'Work Related Learning' activity days offering practice interviews to Post 16 students in preparation for apprenticeships/work.
- speaking to a year group/targeted group about your own journey from school to your current employment.
- working with small groups of learners to help them recognise the value of their current education.
- supporting Year 11/Post 16 students in identifying their next steps.
Or do you have an idea of your own that you could bring to inspire young people in their journey to higher education, apprenticeships or employment?
St Paul’s Alumni Day - Save the Date!
We would like to invite any ex pupils to our third St Paul’s Alumni Day on Friday 26th June 2026 (9am - 1.30pm). This is a fantastic opportunity for you to share your careers journey since leaving school with current pupils, to meet with Sixth Form students and help them to start navigating their careers beyond school and an opportunity to see some of your teachers. If you are interested please contact us at alumniandsupporters@stpauls.org.uk.
Upcoming Alumni Activities - Can You Help?
World of Work Spotlight – Steps into Work Day, Wednesday 8th July 2026
Share your career journey and employability tips with Year 9 students by spotlighting your job, company, and the path you’ve taken since leaving school. You were in their shoes not long ago. Inspire them with your story. No preparation needed. Simply give a five to 10 minute overview of your role and career journey, then take questions from students working in small groups.
Young people need real insight into the world of work to make confident, informed career choices. By sharing your story, you can help students:
- Understand real career pathways
- Build confidence in their own potential
- See what’s possible beyond the classroom
You can play a vital role in shaping their future.
There are 3 sessions available to sign up for.
Session 1 – 8.45am – 11.55am
Session 2 – 12pm – 3.35pm
Session 3 – All day
