We've created this page to provide Year 6 parents and students with important information to prepare you for joining St Paul's in September 2024.
How We Will Communicate With Successful Applicants
Successful applicants to St Paul’s Catholic School for September 2024 will be contacted via post and email with a link to the Pupil Information Form. Please take time to read and complete the form (it will take approximately 30 minutes). Once completed, please click to submit the form and this will act as confirmation that you are accepting the place offered. If you have not received that link please email us on transition@st-pauls.org.uk. Please ensure that you only use the transition email address for any communication about transition.

Useful Podcasts For Transition Pupils
The Salvation Army have made a series of short podcasts for pupils who are making the transition to secondary school. They can be accessed on all streaming sites and via this link https://www.salvationist.org.uk/resources/discipleship/thesmallfishpodcast
School Uniform
Our school uniform supplier is SWI Schoolwear. You can visit their website here. SWI supply all aspects of school uniform from our school blazer to PE kit. You can also purchase items such as white school shirts, black trousers and skirts but items such as these do not have to be purchased through SWI.
SWI are currently delivering to your home address, free, if the order is over £70. Uniform can also be delivered to school free of charge. The cut-off day to order is a Wednesday for your delivery to arrive in school the following Monday.
Parents are able to order more than one item for sizing purposes and returns are free; we do hold sizing samples at school. Full details of our uniform can be found on our school website here. You can see a list of essential school equipment here.
Getting To School
St Paul's is served by two bus companies, Z & S and Arriva. Please note that Z & S buses are cash free and operate with a smartcard. You can find full details of the bus services, smartcards and the All in One MK concessionary travel card here.
WisePay
WisePay is the online service we use for parents to pay for food, trips and other school activities and services. Please download the WisePay App - this will make your life much easier as it can store your card details, speed up checkout and give a quick 'top up' option for your child's account. Once logged in to the app you won't need to log in again - making managing your child's account much quicker and easier. The App can be downloaded from your WisePay account which you can access from our website homepage. Parents will be sent a message giving the unique organisation code that is required to activate the App. For advice and guidance about your WisePay account please click here. In Touch
We use SIMS In Touch to communicate with parents . In Touch sends emails direct to your inbox and SMS text messages direct to your mobile phone. This service, which is free, is a discreet, convenient, secure and reliable method of communication which enables the school to send directly to you, information such as newsletters, reminders, notification of school club cancellations, school closure information during severe weather etc.
A SIMS Parent app is also available, making it easy for you to access messages and other important school information. An invitation to register for the app will be sent to you and you will need to activate the link within 90 days. You can find a help sheet for the SIMS Parent App here.
Itslearning
itslearning is an online learning platform for students where they can receive messages, and access important information about their studies and independent learning. For instructions on how to access itslearning please click here. You can also find a PowePoint presentation for parents here.
