Communicating with Parents and Students

Communicating with parents and students is an important part of what we do.  Here is information on the services we use.

SIMS In Touch

We use SIMS In Touch to communicate with parents . In Touch sends emails direct to your inbox and SMS text messages direct to your mobile phone.

This service, which is free, is a discreet, convenient, secure and reliable method of communication which enables the school to send directly to you, information such as newsletters, reminders, notification of school club cancellations, school closure information during severe weather etc.

A SIMS Parent app is also available, making it easy for you to access messages and other important school information. An invitation to register for the app has been sent to parents. If you haven’t accepted the invitation yet can we please encourage you to do so as soon as possible as the link expires after 90 days.  If you can’t find the invitation, or your link has expired, please contact the school and ask to speak to our Faculty Admin Office so that we can issue you with a new one.

You can find a help sheet for the SIMS Parent App here.

Recommendations to Parents

If you are having trouble seeing In Touch emails please be sure to check your junk/spam folder. Be sure to add both 8264702@sims-communications.co.uk and to your safe senders list. You can also find more information on mitigating spam here.

It is very important that your contact details are up to date so we are asking you to keep the school informed if you change either your mobile number or email address so that you don't miss any messages. You can find a change of details form here.

ClassCharts

ClassCharts is a key home-school communication system that enables parents and carers to see live updates and keep track of their child’s daily achievements and behaviour. It is also the tool which teachers use to set homework tasks for pupils, which parents and carers are also able to view.

ClassCharts is a vital communication tool for school as it enables us to share announcements and notices to individual classes, year groups or the whole school. Pupils can also message staff directly using ClassCharts, should they require any support or have any questions.

A ClassCharts Parent app and Student app are available for use on smart phones or other devices. ClassCharts can also be accessed through any web browser. We expect all parents, carers and pupils to access Classcharts regularly. If you have any problems logging in to ClassCharts or have not received a parent code, please email classcharts@st-pauls.org.uk.

WisePay

WisePay is the online service we use for parents to pay for food, trips and other school activities and services.  Please download the WisePay App - this will make your life much easier as it can store your card details, speed up checkout and give a quick 'top up' option for your child's account.  Once logged in to the app you won't need to log in again - making managing your child's account much quicker and easier.  The App can be downloaded from your WisePay account which you can access here.  Parents will be sent a message giving the unique organisation code that is required to activate the App.  If you haven't received your code please call the school office.  For advice and guidance about your Wisepay account please click here. If you have a query about your WisePay account please email our Finance Department at FinanceDepartment@st-pauls.org.uk

If you are an external school and are experiencing issues with WisePay please email their support service at Primary.Support@st-pauls.org.uk
