Alumni - Can You Help Us During Black History Month?
Calling our wonderful alumni - can you help us inspire our students during Black History Month?
In line with this year’s theme “Standing Firm in Power and Pride” for Black History Month in October, we are looking to recognise the members of our alumni who have shown resilience, strength, and unwavering commitment to progress in their careers and/or their community.
To achieve this, we are inviting any St Paul’s Catholic School Alumni of Black heritage to be involved in sharing with our students their destinations and accomplishments since removing their gold and purple tie. Our hope is to feature as many fields as possible to help illustrate to students the vast array of directions they can take in life. As stated by BHM UK Editor Cherron Inko-Tariah MBE:
“…Power represents influence, leadership, and the collective strength that drives change. Pride celebrates identity, culture, and the enduring excellence within Black communities...”
If you feel that you meet any these aspects, please fill out the short survey here and/or share this opportunity with anyone that you know may be interested:
