St Paul’s has welcomed two new members of staff to its Grounds Maintenance Team. Lee Partridge joins as Grounds Maintenance Manager and Carl Brown joins as Grounds Maintenance Technician.

Lee has worked mainly in formal gardens, maintaining English Heritage sites in the south west including Stonehenge and also the Royal British Legion’s Dunkirk Memorial House Care Home. He was a Groundskeeper for a holiday park in Dorset, where he was responsible for all aspects of the park’s external appearance. He has also worked for a local authority caring for cemeteries across Taunton, as well as managing communal gardens for council tenants in Taunton and its surrounding villages. In Milton Keynes, Lee has looked after gardens at the Red Bull Racing HQ.

Carl has mainly worked within the golf industry where he has helped prepare golf courses for European tour events and qualifiers. His area of expertise is the management and maintenance of sports turf surfaces.

Jo-Anne Hoarty, Headteacher at St Paul’s, said: “We are delighted to have two such experienced professionals joining our Grounds Maintenance Team and look forward to them contributing  positively to the excellent environment we are fortunate to enjoy at our school.”

In addition to maintaining the grounds and sports pitches at St Paul’s, the Grounds Maintenance Team looks after five other school grounds in Milton Keynes.
