Primary SCITT Programme Manager

Full Time Permanent post - Leadership Scale 4 - 8       

We have the rare opportunity to recruit a person to lead and drive the Primary SCITT programme in our established and growing ITT partnership.  We are looking for an experienced primary teacher and school leader with a passion for teacher training, to join a team of colleagues successfully recruiting and supporting outstanding candidates into the profession, in both the Secondary and Primary sectors. 

The successful candidate will have excellent inter-personal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with existing and potential trainees, host school mentors and Headteachers, assessors and trainers.  You will deliver an established SCITT programme and be intrinsic in future developments. 

St. Paul’s Catholic School along with the Denbigh School strategically provide high quality ITT through the Tommy Flowers SCITT.  The successful candidate will join a team with a wealth of knowledge and experience.  The SCITT has been highly successful since its inception in 2015 and has been praised and recognised for the high quality of trainees who successfully complete the programme.  You can see a job description here and a person specification here.

Teacher Of Physics (TMS/UPS)

(Temporary 1 year appointment) 

To teach across the age and ability range in a successful department in an oversubscribed school.  To join an excellent and successful team of teachers committed to achieving the highest standards possible for all the pupils they teach in English.
