Clubs and After School Activities

We offer a wide range of clubs and after school activities to enrich our pupils' experience, as well as homework and revision clubs to help pupils with their studies.  Please click on the club names or see the information below.  

Computer Science Clubs

Drama Clubs:

Homework Clubs:

Homework clubs take place in the Learning Resource Centre (library) after school each afternoon and staff are on hand to support your child with their learning.

Language Clubs:

Maths Clubs:

Maths drop-in sessions for homework and revision help are available in the following rooms:

Years 7 - 10 homework club - Monday 2.45pm - 4pm (Room J111)

Year 11 and GCSE retake homework club - Monday 2.45pm - 4pm (in room J108)

A Level Maths club – Monday 2.45pm - 4pm (in room J104)

Sports Clubs  

Parents are welcome to attend our sports fixtures. We take the safety of our pupils very seriously and ask that you please arrive in reception by 4pm so that a member of staff can meet you and escort you.  We regret that latecomers cannot be admitted.

Technology Clubs

TechFuture Club:

The TechFuture club runs on a Monday from 3pm to 4pm in J206 and all KS3 pupils (Years 7 - 9) are welcome to join.

It includes Online and Offline bite-sized tech challenges in fun topics with badges for pupils to collect.  Topics include: Cyber Safety, Creative Coding, Sport and Fitness (sports blogger, vlogger, understanding fitness technology), Tech for Good (Crowdfunding), Digital Music Making and Digital CSI.

VI Clubs:

Monday club is held from 2.45pm until 4pm.  The club is for pupils with visual impairment and their friends. Fun activities include developing independent living skills; cookery using specialist equipment; sport; first aid and preparation for life after school. Guest speakers with visual impairment or with specialist knowledge or experience are invited to talk to pupils , where possible and provide positive role models.  VI Club is run by a qualified Teacher of the Visually Impaired and Specialist Learning Support Assistants.

British Sign Language Class:

Held every Thursday from 4pm to 5pm for anyone who is interested in learning British Sign Language.  The class is run by Mr Whalley, our Teacher of the Deaf and Head of the HI Department.
