Use of Pupil Premium and Catch-Up Funding

The pupil premium is additional funding for publicly funded schools in England to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and close the gap between them and their peers.

Catch up funding is awarded to allow schools to provide additional literacy and numeracy support for pupils who did not reach level 4 in reading or mathematics at key stage 2 , to help them catch up with their classmates.

A new online portal has been launched for parents to find out if they qualify for Free School Meals and Pupil Premium.  Please note this is now the ONLY way that applications can be received and hard copy applications will not be accepted.  If you have not used the portal before you will need to register an account. Parents and carers can visit the portal here.
